By using PCPulse you agree to these terms. They’re short on purpose. If you find something here that conflicts with how the site actually behaves, email legal@pcpulse.us and we’ll fix it.
1. What PCPulse provides
PCPulse aggregates publicly-available pricing data from PC-parts retailers and presents it in a searchable interface. We do not sell products, hold inventory, or process payments. Every transaction happens between you and the retailer at the destination of the outbound link.
2. Affiliate disclosure
PCPulse earns commissions on qualifying purchases made through outbound retailer links. This includes (but is not limited to) the Amazon Associates program, Rakuten LinkShare, Impact, and Commission Junction. The price you pay is identical to what you would pay going directly to the retailer; we receive a small percentage of the sale from the retailer’s affiliate budget.
We try to surface the cheapest offer first regardless of which retailer pays the highest commission. If two retailers are within $5 of each other, we’ll show whichever has higher in-stock certainty first. We will never recommend a more expensive option because it pays more.
3. Pricing accuracy
Prices are pulled from retailer APIs and refreshed throughout the day. They can go stale — the retailer is the authoritative source. Always verify the price on the retailer’s checkout page before completing a purchase. PCPulse is not responsible for differences between the price displayed here and the price charged at checkout.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or systematically harvest the site beyond normal browser use.
- Attempt to circumvent affiliate attribution to deny PCPulse commission on purchases originated here.
- Use the site to violate any law in your jurisdiction.
5. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. PCPulse is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the site, including incorrect pricing, stock-status errors, or retailer fulfillment issues.
6. Third-party links
Outbound links go to third-party retailers. We have no control over what happens after you leave PCPulse and we are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those sites.
7. Intellectual property
Product names, logos, and trademarks shown on PCPulse belong to their respective owners. They are used solely to identify products and do not imply endorsement. The PCPulse name, logo, and original site content are owned by the operator.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Effective” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
